GraduatePrograms.com, an online resource for those pursuing advanced post-secondary education, has ranked Pacific University's Physician Assistant Studies program sixth nationally and tops among institutions based on the West Coast.
As part of the university's College of Health Professions, Pacific's School of Physician Assistant Studies emphasizes problem-based learning, small group sessions, diversity awareness, evidence-based healthcare, interprofessional activities, integration of computer technology and the use of the internet in the educational process.
The program rankings cover a period from Sept. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2014. Graduateprograms.com assigns 15 ranking categories to each graduate program at each graduate school.
