The School of Graduate Psychology (SGP) at Pacific University is seeking applicants for a full time 12-month Post-Doctoral Psychology Residency Position in its Latinx Psychology Emphasis (Sabiduría) in the Pacific Psychology and Comprehensive Health (PCH) Clinics, beginning August 2018. Sabiduría: Latinx Psychology Emphasis combines academic and clinical training experiences intended to prepare students to work with the Latinx community. The successful candidate must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology (ABD at time of application is acceptable; degree must be completed at the time of hire) and must demonstrate excellent culturally competent clinical skills working with Latinx adults, children, and families. An advanced level of oral and written abilities in Spanish and English is required. We are seeking a candidate with innovative ideas about fostering community service, outreach, integrated healthcare, and collaboration with the Latinx community.
a) Direct service conducting assessments and psychotherapy with clients at PCH Clinics, with focus on serving Spanish-speaking Latinx adults, children and families.
b) Consultation to PCH Clinic clinicians on cross-cultural and diversity issues.
c) Coordination, in conjunction with the Director of Sabiduría: Latinx Psychology Emphasis, of community requests for clinical services, psychoeducational presentations, community outreach, and service.
d) Participation in the Pacific University Interdisciplinary Diabetes Clinic.
e) Teaching, with the support of a faculty mentor, of up to two classes per year focused on Latinx mental health issues.
f) Support of the goals of the Sabiduría: Latinx Psychology Emphasis and PCH Clinics.
g) Work one evening per week till 8pm and one Saturday a month.
h) One week of on-call coverage for after-hours support approximately six times a year.

SGP and the PCH are housed within the College of Health Professions of Pacific University, located in downtown Hillsboro, adjacent to Tuality Community Hospital.
