Updates on the New Colleague Interface

Colleague UI 5 is now available to use, but the deadline for switching from the current version is extended until November. Campus trainings will be held in approximately 1 - 2 months.

Email Upgrade for Pacific Faculty and Staff

University Information Services will begin an upgrade to the faculty and staff email system on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Changes to Sending Encrypted Email for Pacific Employees and Students

University Information Services (UIS) will be transitioning to a new email encryption system during the UIS maintenance period on Tuesday, July 18.   After this transition, employees will need to follow modified instructions to continue to use email encryption. 

Information About Online Training Courses for Employees

The university is partnering with Lawroom.com to implement a new online training program for all employees. Employees received an initial course invitation through email on Tuesday, April 25.

UIS to Deliver Important Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade

Beginning March 26, UIS will begin delivering an important upgrade to university computers running Microsoft Windows 10, using the university's Symantec Altiris Client Management system.  

Verify Your Boxer Alerts Account is Up-to-Date

Students, faculty and staff are advised to check their Boxer Alert accounts to make sure their accounts are active and their contact information is up-to-date to ensure they receive notifications.

Changes to Boxer Guest Wireless

UIS will change the Boxer Guest password on the morning of Nov. 15.

UIS Recommendations on Computer Operating System Upgrades

On Sept. 20, 2016, Apple will release its latest version of its Mac OS, now called macOS, Sierra. UIS recommends that users do not upgrade until macOS has been tested and validated with all university systems and services.  Please check Supported Operating Systems and Known Issues for updates.
