Nominate a Colleague for the University Diversity & Justice Award
The recipient of the University Diversity & Justice Award is a faculty or staff member whose work creates a diverse and sustainable community that inspires students to pursue justice in our world, and embraces a rich diversity of ideas, peoples, and cultures, with an emphasis on public service within the global community.
Specifically, recipients shall have engaged in sincere, active efforts to promote diversity and social justice for under-represented populations, and should be able to demonstrate evidence of the impact of their work on the local or global communities.
Specific diversity efforts should advance equity, inclusion, and justice for people from under-represented groups based on: race, ethnicity, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, abilities, socio-economic status, veteran status, religious preference, or any other classification protected under state or federal law.
Nominations for the 2021 Awards must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022.
