Allison Hajdu-Paulen, LCSW
Allison (she/her/hers) holds a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in a variety of settings including the college counseling center, community college, community mental health clinics, parenting groups, and hospitals. She is a generalist who brings experience addressing depression, interpersonal violence, anxiety, communication, spirituality, career development, and life transition. Allison has a distinctive passion for working with students as they explore their identity in the midst of an evolving environment, particularly around areas of culture, social justice, relationships, vulnerability, and life balance. She engages students collaboratively and compassionately to create a healing environment in which to empower them to progress towards their goals. She draws on a student’s strength and resilience within a developmental framework and utilizes an integrative approach, incorporating mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and interpersonal process. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, hiking, and traveling.
