Daisy Bueno*, Ph.D
Daisy (she/her/ella) earned her Ph.D in school psychology from Illinois State University. She is originally from the Chicago area. She is a first-generation college student and daughter to Mexican immigrants. Daisy completed her pre-doctoral internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute through Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md., and completed her post-doctoral residency through the Sabiduria Latinx Emphasis Program at Pacific University. Through her personal experiences and incredible mentors, her work is rooted in collective healing. She is committed to solidarity work, trauma healing, and learning self-compassion within an anti-racist, systemic and anti-oppressive framework. Daisy hopes to offer a space to engage in authentic dialogue that supports healing, awareness, social justice work and overall liberation from oppression, trauma and stressors in life. *Daisy is a bilingual Spanish speaker and is able to provide therapy services in Spanish.
