Jessie Larson-Wu, LPC
Jessie (she/her/hers) holds a Masters in Community Counseling degree from Lewis & Clark College and is a licensed professional counselor, with experience working in numerous community mental health agencies and group practice. She comes from an intersectional feminist viewpoint, seeing individual’s various identities as intersecting. She utilizes a person centered approach with interventions from CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and trauma informed care. She enjoys working with students on exploring identity (cultural, gender, etc), life values, relationships, and adjustment concerns. She has particular experience working with depression/anxiety, trauma, and the LGBTQIA population. Having grown up in China, she recognizes the significance of culture, family, and the impact of systems. She provides an LGBTQIA affirmative approach to psychotherapy which recognizes the immense value of each LGBTQIA person’s well-being.
