Lisa has been an elementary educator for nearly 25 years and has taught every grade level from kindergarten to 5th grade.  Prior to accepting the School and Community Partnership Coordinator position at Pacific University's Eugene campus, she was a classroom teacher for 20 years in the Eugene 4J School District and most recently taught at Adams Elementary in 2nd grade.  Lisa has also taught overseas in both Venezuela and South Korea, as well as some other small Lane County rural school districts.

Lisa is passionate about teaching and learning.  She is actively engaged both locally and at the state level in education advocacy.  She currently serves on the Lane Community College Board of Education and is thrilled to begin a new journey working in higher education at Pacific University.  In her free time Lisa enjoys gardening, birdwatching, and sea kayaking.
