Marcin Wróblewski, AuD, PhD - Assistant Professor
Dr. Marcin Wróblewski joined Pacific University in August 2017. His research interests and experiences are broad and have spanned: loudness perception, middle and inner ear mechanics, hearing aids and cochlear implants, auditory evoked potentials, auditory processing disorder, bilingualism, and classroom acoustics and linguistic/cognitive development all in relation to communication outcomes in school-age children. His future research will continue to focus on identifying barriers to communication and designing strategies to overcome them.
Dr. Wróblewski earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Białystok (previously Warsaw University, Białystok Branch) in Poland in 2000, and his Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, Speech and Hearing Science from Brooklyn College, City University of New York in 2005. He was awarded his Master of Arts in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2012, Doctorate of Audiology in 2013, and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences by the University of Iowa. He completed the clinical externship at the Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH), where he also worked as a research audiologist prior to joining Pacific University.
In his leisure time, Dr. Wróblewski enjoys books, movies, spending time with his family, and exploring the beautiful outdoors that Oregon has to offer.
