Shawna D. Rohner, RDH, MS
Shawna joined Pacific University as a full-time faculty member in August 2008. She previously taught introductory clinics for dental students at the University of the Pacific Dental School. She also developed and taught a radiology course for a dental assisting program. Shawna has over 30 years of experience as a clinical dental hygienist. Her areas of expertise and interest include dental radiology and advanced clinical dental hygiene skills.
Shawna is an active member of the American Dental Education Association and American Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also an active member of a dental hygiene study club.
Shawna is passionate about working with the senior dental hygiene students as they enhance their clinical skills and progress toward graduation and a professional career. When she is not involved with students, Shawna enjoys traveling, spending time with her three college-aged children, and participating in sports, especially skiing.
