Satisfactory Progress
- Professional Programs: Please see the Pacific University Catalog for satisfactory progress requirements for each professional program
- Forest Grove Undergraduates in Arts & Science, Education, and Business: Students will maintain satisfactory academic progress by meeting these standards:
- A cumulative GPA at Pacific University of at least 2.0
- A GPA of at least 2.0 in the previous semester
- Academic standing is reviewed and assigned by the Registrar at the conclusion of each semester. Students who have not met standards for satisfactory academic standing in the immediate preceding semester in which they were registered may be assigned Warning or Probation status, or be Suspended for one semester. Financial Aid awarding and athletic eligibility may be affected negatively by a lack of satisfactory academic standing. For complete academic standing details see the catalog.
Academic Jeopardy
Students encountering academic problems are reminded that financial aid eligibility also depends on academic achievement. For specific questions, see the Financial Aid section in the Pacific University Catalog and consult with the Financial Aid Office in Marsh Hall or at finoff@pacificu.edu.
