Commencement is held on the Forest Grove Campus on the east lawn of Marsh Hall. The address is:

How long is the Commencement ceremony?
Commencement lasts about two hours.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Only in extreme weather conditions will there be a change to the Commencement ceremony. Uncomfortable weather conditions, such as steady or intermittent rain or very hot or cold temperatures does not constitute extreme weather. The ceremony is outdoors. There is no roof or cover. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
What are the arrangements for individuals who use a wheelchair?
College Avenue will have designated accessible parking spots, a drop-off area, and a golf cart shuttle to the ceremony for those needing assistance. All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, disabled parking spots are located in all university parking lots around campus. All parking is on a first-come-first-served basis. No university parking permits are required. Please be courteous if parking on the street in the neighborhoods around campus.
Ceremony Live Feed that can be watched on your own device?
There will be a live video-feed with captioning available to all guests through their smartphone, tablet or laptop computer. Please call Paula at 503-352-1556 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Is there reserved seating?
There is no reserved seating. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a place to sit inside and watch the ceremony?
No. But if you have a device that can get the Live Feed during the ceremony you can sit in any building on campus to watch commencement on August 10th.
Where is parking available?
All campus parking lots are available the day of Commencement. No parking permits are needed. Please be courteous if parking on the street in neighborhoods around campus.

Who is speaking at Commencement this year?
The August Commencement Ceremony does not have a keynote speaker.

How can we get graduation announcements?
Announcements can be purchased from CB Grad Announcements. Information can be found on their website or by phone at 1-800-433-0296.
Where do students get caps and gowns?
Caps and gowns are ordered through the University Bookstore. The deadline for purchasing your regalia is June 10, 2019. Regalia purchased after this date will be charged a late fee of $15. The day of Commencement the Bookstore will be open from 8am-5pm. Phone for Bookstore is 503 352-2224.
Is there a rehearsal?
There is not a rehearsal. If you have concerns about your name being pronounced correctly, please contact your Program Administrator.
How do I get copies of the professional photos and DVD?
Each graduate is photographed by a professional photographer from GradImages as s/he receives their diploma from President Hallick. To view or order your photos, go to www.gradimages.com or call 1-800-261-2576.
A video of commencement is posted on Pacific's iTunes channel. It is usually available to view 7-10 days after graduation. The link to the video and photos of the ceremony taken by Pacific's staff photographer are available on the Commencement page.
Can family and friends take pictures of the diploma presentation?
Audience members can take photos and videos from their seats. They are not allowed to approach the stage or stand in the area where graduates exit the stage. For safety reasons, all aisles must be kept clear. The official professional photographer from GradImages will capture graduates receiving their diploma and coming off the stage.
Is there a plan in case of extreme weather?
Only in extreme weather conditions will there be a change to the Commencement ceremony. Extreme weather is defined as conditions that are unsafe, such as severe winds or lightning. Uncomfortable weather conditions, such as steady or intermittent rain or very hot or cold temperatures does not merit a change to the ceremony.
In the event of a change due to extreme weather, information will be emailed to all graduates and posted on the Commencement page.
