Weather | Commencement
Pacific’s Commencement Ceremonies are traditionally held outdoors, rain or shine.
Please dress accordingly for weather. Guests are asked to limit the use of umbrellas as a courtesy so that everyone may see and enjoy the ceremony. Rain ponchos are available for purchase at the flower table at the stadium entrance.
Some guest seating in Hanson Stadium is under cover. Guests may also watch a live stream of the ceremony from inside the Stoller Center.
Exceptions may be made for extreme weather hazards, such as lightning. In the event of hazardous weather or other emergency, information would be sent to students via a Boxer Alert and/or email and would be posted online at pacificu.edu.
