Applications Being Accepted for the Staff Emergency Fund

The Staff Senate has reopened the Pacific University Staff Emergency Fund to assist staff experiencing hardship and unexpected expenses due to the pandemic or other unforeseen circumstances. Last year 10 grants were awarded to staff members and the Staff Senate hopes to continue to support more staff this year.

Extra budget dollars are being donated to the Staff Emergency Fund to be used within this fiscal year to provide emergency financial assistance to staff who are unable to meet immediate and essential expenses because of a temporary hardship caused by the loss of a job or benefit, illness, or other emergency need. Pacific University employees with an FTE of .5 or greater are eligible to apply.

This past year has been challenging, but the Boxer Spirit among our community is strong. If you would like to apply for a grant from this fund, please complete this application by Monday, June 28. It will be reviewed confidentially by Human Resources staff and you will be contacted if you are chosen for a financial grant from this fund.

If you have any questions, please email staffsenate@pacificu.edu or email Ashly Tilden-Browning with Human Resources at ashlytb@pacificu.edu.
