Applications due Dec. 1 for URSCI Summer Institute

Applications are now open for student participants in the 2019 Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Inquiry (URSCI) Summer Institute at Pacific University, June 3 - 21. Under the theme "Crossing Borders: Real and Imagined," this unique opportunity brings together three faculty — Dijana Ihas (Music), Brent Johnson (Creative Writing), and Enie Vaisburd (Media Arts) — and 12 students in the development of interdisciplinary, scholarly, multimodal projects. Students receive stipends ($1,620) to participate in this three-week immersive experience cultivating experimental, student-designed research projects around a shared theme.
