Brooke Taylor Mejorado PA ’21: School of Physician Assistant Studies Clinical Excellence Award
Brooke Taylor Mejorado PA ’21 received the Clinical Excellence Award from the Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies.
“Brooke got consistently high marks from her preceptors, who often remarked on her excellent rapport with staff and patients, her preparedness, and willingness to help,” professors wrote. “She also kept in close contact with faculty and staff making her an outstanding example of a Pacific PA student.”
Fellow student Jessica BuiVu Nguyen PA ’21 also received the award.
Mejorado, who is from Manteca, Calif., worked as an emergency room technician and emergency department scribe prior to joining Pacific’s PA program. She graduated from Pacific University in August 2021 with a master of science in physician assistant studies.
The PA program provides a comprehensive seven-semester primary care training program that focuses on interprofessional, evidence-based healthcare with a focus on diversity awareness.
