Candidate Presentations for Director, Center for a Sustainable Society
All students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend candidate presentations and open forums for the finalists for the position of Director, Center for a Sustainable Society.
As Director of the Center, the successful candidate will shape the direction of sustainability initiatives at the university level, and will also teach and collaborate with students. The Director of the Center for a Sustainable Society manages the operations of the Center, including supervising staff at the B-Street Farm for Applied Sustainability, assists in the development of sustainability curriculum across the university, facilitates student and faculty involvement in sustainability initiatives and scholarship, advances university sustainability efforts including STARS rating and carbon neutrality goals, and works with community partners to develop sustainability initiatives.
As part of their campus visits next week, finalist will be presenting and answering questions at open forums:
- Monday, June 26 – Ann Scheerer
- Wednesday, June 28 – Michelle Larkins
- Thursday, June 29 – Angela Hamilton
All presentations/forums will be held in Scott Hall, Rm. 204, from 11 a.m. to noon. Video-recordings of presentations will be posted to the Box folder with candidate CVs (below) the same day for those who are unable to attend in person.
