Catherine Uher OD '21: Eschenbach Low Vision Award from College of Optometry

Catherine Uher OD '21Catherine Uher OD '21 received the Eschenbach Low Vision Award from the Pacific University College of Optometry.

The award recognizes the skills and achievements of a fourth-year optometry student who has shown an exceptional aptitude and interest in the field of low vision.

Uher, who is from Albuquerque, N.M., graduated in May 2021 with a doctorate in optometry.

The College of Optometry provides a foundation in basic and clinical sciences, as well as significant hands-on experience in serving diverse populations of patients. Students also are involved in outreach locally and around the world, as they prepare to serve patients anywhere their careers take them. The college offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programs in vision science, as well as a doctor of optometry degree.
