Caylie Shiramizu MSAT ’21: Pacific University School of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training 2021 Academic Honoree

Caylie Shiramizu MSAT ’21 Caylie Shiramizu MSAT ’21 has been named a 2021 Athletic Training Academic Honoree by the Pacific University School of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training. 

The award recognizes extraordinary academic performance in the master of science in athletic training program.

“Caylie Shiramizu was truly dedicated to getting the most out her academic experience,” said Program Director Jeffrey Kawaguchi.

Shiramizu, who hails from Honolulu, Hawai’i, is among six May 2021 graduates named Academic Honorees. Others include Johanna Wilson ’20, MSAT ’21, Kevin Attard MSAT ’21, Trevor Hunt MSAT ’21, Jamie Leonetti MSAT ’21, and Emily Liska MSAT ’21.

Pacific’s master’s program prepares students for certification and licensure as athletic trainers, healthcare professionals who work with physicians to prevent and diagnose injury, and treat and rehabilitate acute and chronic issues that would impair or limit their patients’ activity.
