Design Improvements Launched on Website Homepage, MyPacific Pages

Marketing & Communications has launched minor design changes to the website, including an update that declutters the homepage and emphasize four distinct pathways through the site. New custom icons guide users through different steps in the discovery process and align to university goals. The refreshed look was developed over the summer after a review of analytics and using a mobile-first design philosophy, making it pleasing and easy to use on any device.

The design also improves the newsfeed to show teaser images and text for each story. This design has been carried through to newsfeed aggregate pages for each tag.

Based on user feedback, significant updates to MyPacific has refocused attention on the three personalized landing pages for undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty/staff. Content was simplified and a menu was added for easier navigation to important links. Robust, redesigned feeds will pull information from news/media website content and the online calendar. To stay up-to-date on important university information, bookmark the appropriate MyPacific page or set it as your homepage.

Hoping to get news or upcoming events on these pages? All university students, staff and faculty can add items to the online calendar by logging in with their PUNetID. Trained university web editors can add news/media content to the website.
