Dr. Jose Reyna, PT, DPT, supervises second-year DPT student Amy Allen '19 while she performs a manual therapy technique.

Dr. Jose Reyna, PT, DPT was recently interviewed by Capital Press and Oregon Public Broadcast on his community serve.  There is also a forthcoming piece in Edible Portland.  Since 2012, Dr. Reyna has been an integral part of ¡Salud!, which is a program that provides access to healthcare for vineyard workers and their families. Tuality Healthcare and local winery owners collaborate to provide seasonal Latino vineyard workers on-site healthcare.  As the lead physical therapist, Dr. Reyna supervises and directs student volunteers, recruits other physical therapists, and provides patient care including examination, screening, intervention, and distributing equipment.  More specifically, intervention includes therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, ergonomic assessment, and education on body mechanics and injury prevention. Dr. Reyna has been joined by Dr. Mike Bridges since 2014 and more recently by Dr. Andy Weyer since 2016. As part of this mobile interdisciplinary healthcare effort, Dr. Reyna also transports all of the equipment needed to provide on-site physical therapy services.
