Dr. Sanders Co-Authors White Paper on Gross Anatomy During the Pandemic

With colleagues from DeSales University, Georgia Southern University, and the University of Iowa, Dr. Sheryl Sanders recently contributed to a white paper for the American Association for Anatomy. In the context of uncertain times, the group of anatomists highlights the many advantages of cadaveric learning and its lifelong impact, which are critical to the education of healthcare professionals. They contend that colleges and universities “… must prioritize cadaver dissection as an essential learning experience.”
