Jessica E. (Dunkin) Hamlet '08, who earned her master's degree at Mary Baldwin College and her PhD from the University of Alabama, now is an assistant professor of English at Alvernia University in Reading, Penn.
Richard Jahn Bulfinch '62 passed away in August 2022 at the age of 81 after struggling with Parkinson's Disease for several years.
David Goss '72, OD '74 has published From Spectacle Making Trade to Scholarly Profession: A History of Optometry in the United States, by Pacific University Press.
Twin brothers Kenneth Nakao '62 and Alfred Nakao '61 each died in December 2022. Kenneth Nakao earned a degree in chemistry from Pacific, and Alfred Nakao attended Pacific for two years before transferring to and graduating from Portland State University. As children, they were removed from the family farm and placed in an internment camp.
Gary Lee '66 died in September 2022.

Max Miura '79 of Honolulu was named the 2022 HHSAA wrestling official of the year in Hawai'i.
Nicole Tierheimer MAT '10 teaches social studies to middle schoolers in Edgewater, Colo.
Anahita (Nemat) Renner '03 was to a nonprofit board, and was appointed by Virginia's governor to serve on the board of the State Executive Council for Children’s Services.
Nancy Woody (Isaac) Scroggs ’63 died Aug. 15, 2022, at age 82.
