Faculty invited to the Inclusive and Intercultural Pedagogy Workshop

The Center for Languages and International Collaboration invites faculty to take part in a workshop on Inclusive and Intercultural Pedagogy. During the two-hour workshop we will reflect on our implicit beliefs about learning, students, academic rigor and institutional/disciplinary expectations, focus on research-tested pedagogical strategies, and learn practical, hands-on, active learning activities that create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.

The workshop is facilitated by Dr. Catherine Ross, Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia University and faculty at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication.  This workshop is part of the CLIC’s ongoing support of international and diverse perspectives at Pacific.

Register to reserve your spot and submit questions or burning issues you'd like addressed at the workshop.
