Federal COVID-19 Emergency Relief Funds Available for Students
Pacific University is now accepting applications for distribution of federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF II) grants. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 28, 2021. Distribution of funds will begin after March 1, 2021.
Funded by the federal government, HEERF II provides financial aid grants for U.S. citizens and permanent residents currently enrolled in higher education programs. The grants can be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or emergency costs that arise due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including tuition, food, housing, healthcare or childcare.
Government guidelines for the distribution of the grants require students to demonstrate exceptional need, as determined by the information provided on the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
