Julia Peterson '21: Outstanding Senior in Applied Theatre

Julia Grace-Martinez Peterson ’21 has been named an Outstanding Senior in Applied Theater at Pacific University. She graduated in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in applied theatre. She is from Woodburn, Ore.

Her senior capstone was It’s That Time of Year, All Year, a play about student fatigue based on multiple interviews. It was presented publicly last fall.

The applied theatre major teaches students how to apply the skills, tools and values of theatre to civic engagement and the community.
