Martha Méndez Bolaños ’21: Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching — Spanish

Martha Méndez Bolaños ’21 was one of two Pacific University seniors honored by the Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching — Spanish. 

Méndez Bolaños, from Hillsboro, Ore., received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish in May 2021.

“I want to be a teacher because I want to support my future students in their Spanish language learning journeys,” she said. “I enjoy my Spanish courses very much, and I want to offer a similar level of joy and engagement to my future secondary students.” 

Fellow graduate Jessica Monje Pérez ’21 also received the award.
