MCCE Offers Faculty Guide for 2022 Midterm Election

The midterm election is scheduled for Nov. 8, 2022, and will have national, state, and local importance. This event offers an opportunity for Pacific University faculty to model and reinforce the importance of electoral engagement, as well as connect  course content with the larger social, political, and environmental context. Classroom conversations and salient assignments will resonate across all disciplines. 

The newly released McCall Center for Civic Engagement Faculty Guide: Bringing the 2022 Election Into Your Classroom will assist faculty as they prepare their fall syllabus. Content includes why you should welcome the election into your classroom, how this might show up in a classroom, what your role is as a faculty member, and how you can get more support.
