In Memoriam: Chuck O'Connor

Professor Chuck O'Connor died Aug. 28, 2022 at age 72. He retired from Pacific University business department in the College of Arts and Sciences in 2011 after 28 years of teaching accounting and related business subjects. He enjoyed his teaching career immensely as well as doing taxes for friends, family, and colleagues.

O'Connor enjoyed retirement, spending his time traveling, listening to and playing live music, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, gardening, and art shows of all sorts. At the time of his retirement, he established the N. Charles O’Connor Endowed Scholarship for a senior accounting student in his name. Remembrances can be given in his honor to benefit future business students.
