College of Optometry Dean Jennifer Coyle ‘90, OD ‘93, MS ‘00, fellow alumna and Pacific University Trustee Dori Carlson ‘88, OD ‘89, will give remarks. Included will be thanks to the many benefactors for their contributions toward the multi-million dollar renovation that features new patient lanes in the EyeClinic, as well as upgraded clinical research labs and classroom spaces for students and faculty.
Following the remarks, Pacific Chaplain Rev. Dr. Chuck Currie will formally dedicate the building, and Pacific University President Lesley Hallick will perform ribbon-cutting honors to commence tours of the new facility.
Originally constructed for Pacific’s College of Optometry in 1952, Jefferson Hall has undergone two prior renovations (1967, 1999) and is home to more than 350 students pursuing a doctor of optometry degree.
