Pacific University Welcomes United Church of Christ

Pacific University is the site for this weekend's Annual Gathering of the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ. The Center for Peace and Spirituality is excited to host the UCC’s return to campus. 

Although Pacific University is an independent university, they have a shared history with the United Church of Christ. Congregationalist pioneers founded Pacific in 1849. The Congregational Church was one of the denominations that formed the UCC in 1957.
