Pharmacy Student Awards & Presentations at Experimental Biology Annual Meeting

School of Pharmacy faculty and students had a great experience at the Experimental Biology 2018 Meeting, which brought together several societies, among them the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) and the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).

Jason Nguyen '17, '21 won 2nd place at the ASPET Undergraduate Poster Competition for the Division of Toxicology. Jason worked with Brendan Stamper as an undergraduate student and has recently been accepted into our joint PharmD/MS program. Congratulations, Jason and Brendan!

Heather True ('18) and PharmD/MS student, was invited to give a presentation based on her poster abstract submission. Congratulations, Heather on this honor and an excellent presentation!

Several students presented posters: Aimy Ung ('20, mentor: Fawzy Elbarbry), Heather True ('19, mentor: Ashim Malhotra/Brendan Stamper), Yvette Leizorek and Nicole LoGiudice ('18, mentor: Sigrid Roberts), undergraduate student Jason Nguyen (mentor: Brendan Stamper), undergraduate student Ryan Colson (mentors: John Harrelson and Jeannine Chan). In addition, posters were presented by Mike Espiritu, Fawzy Elbarbry, and Leslie Devaud.
