Plan Now for Study Abroad

To Pacific Undergraduates,

While COVID-19 has canceled study abroad this year, International Programs expects the program will be up and running again this time next year, barring any unforeseen setbacks. The chance to study abroad is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many students, and now is the time to start planning!

For those of you thinking about, or intending to study abroad for a semester in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022, the process begins this semester, with all prospective participants required to make an appointment with me before submitting an initial application. The deadline is Feb. 10, 2021. I encourage students to browse the Study Abroad homepage, and research the many opportunities available to complete part of your academic program abroad. If you have a firm plan to move ahead, or even if you just want to find out more about semester programs or study abroad in general, please make an appointment to meet with me remotely by clicking the Schedule Appointment link.

For students interested in participating in our 4-credit travel courses (inclusive of a 2-credit preparatory component at Pacific), please click the short-term programs link and contact one of the faculty leaders to make an appointment to get more details. There are several exciting destinations planned for spring/summer 2021.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I hope to meet with many of you in the coming weeks.

Regards,
Stephen Prag
