Psi Chi and Rainbow Coalition Raise $785 through HIV/AIDS Walk

Pacific University's undergraduate student psychology club, Psi Chi, teamed with the university's Rainbow Coalition club to raise $785 during the annual HIV/AIDS Walk in Portland on Sept. 6.

The funds help raise awareness, reduce stigma and increase programs and services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, said Pacific assistant professor Dawn Salgado. Psi Chi vice president Kelly Bjordahl appeared on FOX 12 Oregon's 10 O'Clock news to discuss the importance of the event and why Pacific students and faculty were supporting it.
