Recognizing Heroes

Second year physical therapy student, Melissa Williams '21, organized a fundraiser for local heroes, nurses that work in the Intensive Care Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center.  Students from all three classes, staff, and faculty quickly raised over $400 in two weeks to purchase box lunches for over 40 nurses.  Our program appreciates the critical care that nurses provide to neighbors from our community, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
