Savannah Grosse '21: Outstanding Senior in Kinesiology

GrosseSavannah Grosse ’21 was named Outstanding Senior in Kinesiology by Pacific University. She graduated in May 2021.

Grosse, from Lake Oswego, received her bachelor of science in exercise science with an integrative physiology emphasis. She also played soccer, first for the University of Victoria, then for Pacific. She plans to continue playing while she works toward her doctorate in physical therapy.

Her professors applauded Grosse for her academic initiative. In her capstone project, they said, she “created an evidence-based resource that teachers can use to implement adapted physical education within Oregon elementary schools. Her project provides user-friendly information that teachers can easily implement in their classes, thus promoting inclusive physical education classes across the state.” 

Also named Outstanding Senior in Kinesiology were her classmates, Braden Kojima '21 and Montana Vaught '21.
