School of Pharmacy Assistant Professor Ashim Malhotra Awarded Pharmacology Educator's Award

ASPET has bestowed this year's Pharmacology Educators award to Dr. Ashim Malhotra, BPharm, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Pacific University School of Pharmacy and published this announcement in this month's "Pharmacologist" newsletter. The award bestowal will occur during the Business Meeting at the ASPET annual meeting in Chicago and will include a certificate, picture, and a $1,000 travel award. 

The Pharmacology Education division of the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) awards the coveted and competitive Pharmacology Educators award. Two recipients are selected annually, one from among junior and one from tenured faculty from across the nation. ASPET is the oldest and one of the most respected pharmacology organizations in the United States. The award criteria are rigorous and evaluate the impact of a career in pharmacology education.
