School of Pharmacy Hosts Live Continuing Education Seminar

Professor Mike Millard leads discussion at live CE seminar

The School of Pharmacy hosted our first live continuing education seminar on campus on Saturday, April 7. About 30 of our preceptors, including alumni, attended and received six hours of Oregon Board of Pharmacy-approved continuing education.

Thanks to the Experiential Education team, particularly Anita Cleven and Huy Hoang for organizing and implementing a well-organized full-day continuing education seminar. Thanks also to Jackson Ross and Melanie Belles for their diligent support of this event.

The following faculty presented as a part of this seminar:

  • Steve Arendt
  • Anita Cleven
  • Huy Hoang
  • Reza Karimi
  • Mike Millard
  • Sigrid Roberts
  • Marina Suzuki

This seminar was a testament to our Experiential Education team's dedication to expand and advance our preceptor development and to the School of Pharmacy's goals to strengthen relationships with stakeholders across the state. Providing continuing education credit is regarded by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the School of Pharmacy's accreditation body, as evidence of effectiveness in faculty professional development.
