The Second Annual Empty Bowls Fundraising Dinner Will Benefit Local Non-Profit

Join the Art Department’s Ceramics team from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 in the University Center Boxer Pause room for the second annual Empty Bowls Fundraising dinner, which benefits local non-profit HomePlate Youth Services.

Civic Engagement students will be selling soup from local restaurants in handcrafted ceramic bowls priced between $10 and $30 and will donate all proceeds to HomePlate.

HomePlate is Washington County's only non-profit provider of drop-in centers and street outreach for young people experiencing homelessness. Last year, HomePlate served over 1,000 youth and provided access to a variety of resources. To those interested, HomePlate offers a variety of ways to get involved, including volunteering.

Come join us for the opportunity to raise funds for a great cause in the community.
