Boxers know first-hand what it means to lead. From serving underprivileged groups in our communities, to faculty collaboration on clinical research, to addressing global healthcare needs, Pacific graduates are leaders. It’s part of our identity, and it is what separates us from the rest. This fall we are asking our Boxers to continue to lead on – for current and future student success. 
Cake modeled after the library
A 10,000-mile journey that began in Vietnam for Pacific University alumni Tim '74 and Cathy Tran '74 culminated at the university's Forest Grove Campus with the naming of the library in their honor as part of Pacific's annual Homecoming festivities.
Pacific University has officially named Ledbetter Field at Hanson Stadium in honor of Trustee Kim Ledbetter and his wife Barb, following their ongoing support of Pacific students and Boxer Athletics.
The Pacific University Speech and Debate Team started the year off strong, picking up five awards at a tournament held at Lewis & Clark College last week.
Last month, six physical therapy students volunteered for Destination Rehab. The mission of this non-profit organization is “Building confidence and independence for individuals with neurologic conditions through physical therapy-based community training and adventure challenges.”
Inspired by Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros, Ellen Margolis’s Hide comes to life at the Tom Miles Theatre at Pacific University this fall. Aiming to present the thrust of the story in a more efficient, contemporary structure, Margolis wrote a more gender-conscious play, reconceiving some roles and investigating the gender differences in characters’ reactions to the events of the play
The Trans have a powerful connection with Pacific University and have turned their gratitude into leadership in support of the university's mission.

“I love new experiences because they mean more stories,” said Addison, who has participated in Speech & Debate, English Club and the Black Student Union at Pacific.
“I love Pacific and am so grateful I will be able to get my degree from a place that has so quickly become a second home.”
