Staying Safe on Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend.

While we hope you enjoy the game (or commercials), this isn’t the year for a Super Bowl party.

In the words of Dr. Anthony Fauci, “just lay low and cool it.”

If you want to enjoy the day with friends, consider a Zoom gathering or other virtual watch party.

Otherwise, grab some snacks and stick to your own space.

Remember, due to our local counties’ “extreme risk” designation, social gatherings are restricted to no more than six people from a total of two households — if you’re living in a residence hall, a “household” is you and your roommate(s). Physical distancing and masks are required for indoor gatherings if more than one household is present.

Pacific restrictions also forbid students from entering a residence hall where they don’t live, and violations of any COVID-19 expectations can result in consequences through the Student Conduct system.
