Tallman Brings Infectious Disease Expertise

Greg TallmanGreg Tallman is a new member of the Pacific University School of Pharmacy faculty with a specialization in infectious disease and health outcomes research.

Tallman joins the School of Pharmacy from his home state of Minnesota. He received his PharmD from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and then remained in Iowa to complete a PGY1 residency at Mercy Medical Center.  After this his focused steered toward his specialization in infectious disease, when he completed a PGY2 residency at the same hospital and most recently just completed a three-year fellowship on infectious disease epidemiology.

Greg is excited to put his training to work with the students at the School of Pharmacy, and he had the chance in the spring as the coordinator of the pulmonary and infectious disease 3 blocks.

Aside from the opportunity to remain in the Pacific Northwest, Greg was impressed with the teaching-focused mission at the school and the supportive environment.
