Welcome New Faces in the Office of Experiential Education

Anita Cleven, PharmD, RPh, has been promoted to the assistant dean for experiential education in the School of Pharmacy, effective Sept. 1.

The Office of Experiential Education comprises a significant component of the School of Pharmacy curriculum and continuous support to the experiential education team and its operation is vital to the school’s success. This new leadership structure will enhance the autonomy of office, strengthen the operation of experiential education, and maximize the connection between the Office of Experiential Education and the leadership team at the School of Pharmacy. Per Dean Karimi,

“During the last two years, Dr. Cleven has demonstrated consistent growth in academia, particularly, in experiential education," said School of Pharmacy Dean Reza Karimi. "I firmly believe the school has a committed leadership team and the addition of Anita to deans will increase the diversity of the team and productivity of the school’s operations. Equally, I am confident this new leadership structure will enrich the quality of EE team, preceptor development programs, and IPPE and APPE sites.”

Joining Dr. Cleven are Huy Hoang, PharmD, Melanie Belles, MSEd, and Jackson Ross, MA.
