What’s Happening at Pacific over the Thanksgiving Holiday Break

Thanksgiving break is a great time to relax and unwind before finals. If you’re remaining on campus, here is a list of activities and resources that you can still take advantage of over the holiday break.

Start your break early with a hot meal at the Community Thanksgiving Dinner scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cornelius Elementary School, 200 N. 14 Ave., Cornelius. The City of Cornelius, Centro Cultural de Washington County, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office are sponsoring this free event, which is open to all. For more information, call 503-357-9112.

The Center for a Sustainable Society is offering a Free Food Market, Nov. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the lawn of Marsh Hall. If you need to access food from Boxer FoodShare during the break, please contact Residence Life or Campus Public Safety. The Oregon Food Bank also has many sites statewide.

Join the Thanksgiving hangout, Nov. 28 from 8 to 9:30 p.m. at Cascade Hall’s first floor lounge.

The fun includes snacks, crafts and games. This activity is sponsored by Residence Life.
