Aaron Greer teaches anthropology at Pacific University and has given a couple of PUB Night lectures with the Alumni Association. He teaches a course in Pop culture at Pacific and is known to have quite the passion for music, often referencing his vast collection in class. Pacific’s Student Support team recently hosted a series of six virtual family chats to provide information, resources and tips via Zoom to help families with the transition to online learning this spring. Topics included career advising, student counseling support, financial aid, library support and more.

On Monday evening, Pacific University staff members were made aware of a video posted on social media, in which a former student makes racist comments about a fellow student. We absolutely condemn this behavior.

We are witnessing a seemingly unending and callous assault on the lives of Black men and women. This is not acceptable. 
Styrofoam will no longer be allowed for use with food at Pacific University campuses after July 1, 2021. The new ban prohibits the purchasing, selling, providing or use of Styrofoam food service containers at any Pacific University authorized concessions, university sponsored events, or university programs.
