Pacific University Study of Rural Washington County Presented at Northwest Transportation Conference
Mallory Hiefield ’17 switched sports in the middle of her college years, finding herself on a conference championship team. In the meantime, she has pursued a rigorous academic path and been elected Undergraduate Student Sentate president.
After a year in Mexico on a Fulbright Scholarship, Catie Prechtel '14 has headed south again to keep teaching English. An anthropology and Spanish major at Pacific, Prechtel hopes to make a career teaching English and exploring other cultures.
Carlos Esparza '15 and Jordan Kronen '14 will teach English in Mexico and Malaysia, respectively, during the 2015-2016 academic year.
Catherine Prechtel of Talent, Ore., has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Award for the 2014-2015 academic year.
