Most university locations in the Portland area will be closed due to persistent ice on the roads, including Forest Grove, Hillsboro, EyeClinics, MFA in Writing and Portland PCH.
Updated 10:10 a.m: Most locations in Oregon are closed Friday due to persistent ice on the roads. Boxer Basketball games (women at 6 p.m. and men at 8 p.m.) versus Lewis & Clark in Forest Grove are still scheduled to be played.
A large tree near the university entrance at College Way may fall due to snow accumulation. This tree is a significant safety risk, so please stay clear of it and all trees on campus.
Updated 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night: Most locations in Oregon will be closed on Wednesday due to snow and ice throughout the region.
All colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs are required to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses. 
The university will be holding building-by-building evacuation drills at the Forest Grove, Hillsboro and Woodburn campuses in which a fire alarm will sound.
UPDATED times for some test locations (as of March 22, 2016): In an ongoing effort to raise awareness of safety initiatives on campus, the university will be conducting lockdown drills.
Drills will take place at all campuses Dec. 1-3.

A gas line under University Avenue was cut during construction work on Friday, Aug. 14. Three buildings adjacent to the street were evacuated for about two hours as the line was repaired.
