The discussion panel will include Jeremy Five Crows, Javier Lara, and Tyson McEwan as they share their lived experiences and cultural values as it relates to land use and natural resources, at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 in Taylor Auditorium, Marsh Hall 216.

The new Center for a Sustainable Society will provide a collaborative framework for sustainability efforts on all of Pacific’s campuses.
Forest Grove’s B Street Farm served as a meeting point for two cultures, when several visiting Chinese dignitaries toured the permaculture project as part of their experience as guests of the International Visitor Leadership Program.
The Center for a Sustainable Society will open July 1 and be directed by retiring College of Arts & Sciences Dean John Hayes, who will transition to the new role in a part-time capacity.
