Ashley Kanda, of Kaneohe Hawaii, is pursuing a graduate degree in Pharmacy in the College of Health Professions. She is also a member of the women's soccer team, where she received All-Northwest Conference honors and set a school record of 54 shots.

Cassie Roberts is an Environmental Chemistry major, class of 2011, in the College of Arts and Sciences. She was awarded a Pacesetters scholarship in 2007 and is a Boxer Ambassador.

The Pacific University School of Dental Health Science and the Washington County Dental Society provided complimentary dental care to more than 100 pre-selected low-income children for "Give Kids A Smile" day at the Pacific University Hillsboro Campus.
