Brandon Gatke
Following an extensive search, Pacific University welcomes Brandon Gatke as the chief information officer/chief information security officer (CIO/CISO), leading the University Information Services department. He joins Pacific on Dec. 2.
Gaby Villegas grew up in Hermiston, Ore. and recalls upon her first visit to campus, "...as soon as I walked onto Pacific's campus, I knew this was the right place for me." Villegas graduated with her degree in Business Administration from Pacific in May 2016. During her time at Pacific, she began an internship at a Forest Grove start-up which quickly became a career where she has adapted to learn new roles and develop new procedures in departments from human resources to finance as she grows with the company.

Staff, faculty and students are eligible for reimbursement of personal funds spent on university-related events or functions. Qualified expenses include, mileage, meals and travel.
The fall term will be ending soon and it’s time to sign up for winter break housing if you’re remaining on campus. Residence halls and Vandervelden Court close Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. for the winter holiday break.

Girls today Conference students.
Approximately 65 middle school girls, ages 12-15, took part in the 15th annual Girls Today Conference in October. Girls Today was an all-day conference held at the Forest Grove campus that brought together graduate and undergraduate students from the School of Graduate Psychology, Master of Social Work, the Center for Gender Equity and the American Association of University Women.
